Jeff Marsh is originally from St. John's, Newfoundland.

Like many ETAs, Jeff has been an Elvis fan since he could remember. He has always loved Elvis's music, but never dreamed he would be one of the growing number of Elvis Tribute Artists that keep his legacy alive.

Jeff was 17 when Elvis died in August of 1977...and though he was gone, Jeff, like many others who started this way, continued singing along with his many records and tapes.

In 1997, after a great deal of encouragement by friends and family, Jeff got up at a karaoke bar and sang his first Elvis song, and he hasn't looked back. He was hooked.Jeff then aquired an Elvis suit from a local costume store and tried out performing in front of a live audience. To say the least, he was sacred to death, and he quickly earned the nickname "Statue Elvis' due to his lack of moving on stage.

By 2001, Jeff began performing on a regular basis, attending annual festivals in Brantford, Collingwood, Stouffville, Peterborogh and Windsor to name a few. Wherever there is an Elvis "function" happening, you will probably find Jeff treading the boards, doing his best to keep "the King's" legacy alive.

Here is the 1st ever promo pic of Jeff taken in Collingwood in 2001. The suit was homemade and had an ancient Scarab design made in stones.

He has performed many shows over the years for different charitable causes, seniors homes along with private and corporate functions. If you are "on-line" you can look Jeff up any time at his own website, www.kingonstage.com which Jeff himself designed and built.

In September, 2006, Jeff and his wife Sheila saw two years of hard work come to life when they held their own Elvis festival, The "King of Kitchener", and it was a huge success (Jeff has build and maintains a website for that as well) www.kingofkitchener.net. The second annual event took place just recently, and once again drew packed houses all weekend. Jeff and Sheila are right now working on the third annual festival.

Also in 2001, the year he started, Jeff met a man who has become like a brother to him, Doug McKenzie. Doug was his best man at Jeff's wedding when he was married at the Collingwood Elvis Festival in 2005. Doug's wife, Patti, has become very close with Jeff and Sheila as well and was her Maid of Honor. Also standing up for Jeff and Sheila, was another couple who they have become good friends with , from Birmingham, Alabama, David Lee and his wife, Tara Kay .

Along the way, Jeff has won many awards, some pictured here, but the most satisfying are the ones that don't come in the form of a plaque or trophy. His biggest award, or "Reward", have come by way of all the fantastic people he has met along the way.

Jeff has met and become friends with people from all over the globe. From Ireland and Australia, across Canada and the USA, Jeff has remained in contact with many ETA's and become close friends with most of them. Some of the fans are as well, very travelled and from all over. These friendships Jeff values a great deal.

But of the Elvis related Awards that Jeff has won, he holds a great deal of pride in them. One of his biggest awards came when he finished 2nd, less than 1 point away from the 1st place winner, in the 2007 Windsor Elvis Festival.

In the finals there he got to perform with the Expense Accout Showband, one of the Best "Elvis" band in the world. Jeff has also performed with the Casino Brothers, Jailhouse, Mystery Train and Rudy & The Angels.

Rising through the ranks over the past five years, Jeff has always turned more than a few heads with his distinctive and authentic costumes (personally hand crafted by Jeff himself), along with a performance that favors the Vegas/Concert years.

The "Old Indian" and "Mexican Sundial" were purchased as well as the "Speedway" and "68 comeback" Leather Outfit's, but the rest of Jeff's Jumpsuits are handmade by Jeff himself. He just recently finished the "Peacock" outfit and is working on finishing his "Gypsy" suit. After that he is planning to recreate more suits from the mid 70's, including the "Gold Inca" and the "Unworn" suit, a suit made for Elvis which he was to wear on his next tour.

Jeff has also added a second "alter-ego" to his tribute show, performing as country superstar Garth Brooks. He also likes to mix in a little bit of George Strait, Billy Ray Cyrus and a few other Country Superstars on occasion as well. Recently, with his good friend Doug McKenzie, Jeff has added yet another personality to his Tribute Show, performing very succesfully as the Blues Brothers.

Any time that Jeff is performing, either a country show, as the Blues Brothers or his Favorite, an Elvis Tribute Show, you can bet on one thing.....He always give's you his all to entertain you and let you "Relive the Magic"!
